More reviews:

No Aeon flux just yet.
Blockbuster just messed up my shipping, so I didn't receive it. I'll have to add it to my wait list again to watch it, so instead, look for my "Jarhead" review in the next week.

Good to hear your job is keeping you active Jen. Alright, now in response to your question(s):

Decoding the Code
I have yet to watch the DaVinci Code actually. Initial impressions from people who have seen the movie have seemed to match my inital expectations of the movie. It follows the movie pretty closely which translates to a decently interesting, but not a very exciting film. Some have even called it pretty boring. The book was interesting and addictive, but when watching the trailer, I never really thought, "Man that looks exciting!" So take that however you will.

X3
As for X3...sigh. I sigh because overall I feel like the movie became what it was originally intended to be: a campy, slightly cheesy but usually entertaining comic book film. For the best example of this, watch Fantastic Four. Was X3 as bad as Fantastic Four? Not by any means. But considering the incredible balance of character development and terrific action scenes we became used, I was pretty disappointed in what resulted. There were too many characters by this point, and everything just became sort of diluted. It was hard to really care about all the characters and all of their issues in a movie shorter than 2 hours. Case in point: Did you care with the way some of the characters went out?

Beast and Juggernaut were done pretty well. Angel was the gayest character ever. Did anyone else hear people laugh the first time he spread his wings? Jean Grey looked like my old boss. Storm was useless again.

Anyway, I'll be back with more. I might go shoot around or do something else now.
