Hey blog.
How are you?
SUPER thanks for asking!
Saturday
Anyway on Saturday I went to Duke's house and me, him, Grant, Huey, J-Law, and Nick simultaneously watched the Green Bay, Golden State, Lebron James, and Cal/Stanford games. One word on Lebron James: Over-rated *clap clap clap clap clap clap. And with Golden State and Cal winning, what a day in sports!!!! And Duke's parents bought us pizza and bread sticks. They officially rule.
Sunday
Sunday, not much happened. I don't think at least. My uncle from Korea came to visit. Oh and I remember playing some basketball with Duke.
Monday
Duke, J-Law and I went to Berkeley because Duke had to drop off his EAP application. And I had to check my mail. And J-Law...because he would nothing else to do.
Went to Sozo Sushi AGAIN with my family. But all good, because Japanese food is so money.
At night, J-Law came over where we jammed for a bit, and then just hung out in the kitchen, eating ice cream and oreos and just talking about stuff. I gave him a 5-step breakdown and explained why it was harder to get hooked up than people thought, and how people who actually hooked up in lasting relationship were statistical anomolies.
Tuesday
On Tuesday morning, I had to take my grandmother to the hospital in Oakland again. Today was just a nurse's visit and mammogram. No problem right? Well after the nurse's exam, we still had to get another prescription filled, and then we were off for the mammogram. The nurses told us "right there" so I assumed it was the lab around the corner. So we walked over there and waited and it turned out we were in the wrong place. So we went back to the hospital, I got proper directions to the place, which was a bit further this time and got there, and they said they needed a referral form. Knowing we didn't have anything like this, I told my grandmother to sit down and wait because I didn't want her to walk all the way back, while I ran back to the hospital for the forms. We got there, and I was tossed around from one line to another, and waited while the nurses looked around and tried to find me another copy of the form. (I later found out my grandmother had left them at home, not knowing what they were). They gave me one form, but told me I needed one more but had to wait for the doctor. So I ran back to the x-ray building to let my grandmother know what was going on because I was worried she was worried about me, since I had left her alone for nearly twenty minutes or so. So I ran back to the hospital and it turned out we didn't need the second form, and I could have just left the third time, so I ran back and turned the forms in and my grandma got her mammogram. The nurses had me sit in the lounge while my grandma got her mammogram so I couldn't translate for her. Funny thing was, my grandmother, for some reason thought she was getting her eyes checked, so I can only imagine the shock once she found out she was actually getting a mammogram (breast check).
I dropped my grandma off at my mom's work and rushed back to visit Mr. Hayes, my old math teacher from high school. Duke and J-Law stopped by a little later, and then they came with me while I got some lunch. Then we did something I still kinda regret. WE WENT TO THE MALL. Granted it was for only half an hour or so, and we didn't linger in any stores too long, and it was packed, and I managed to get Madden 2002 for 12 bucks, I still kinda felt sick.
Then they came over to my house, where we played guitar, talked a little and then had dinner. Galbi. Mmmm...I was having a fun time kinda introducing some korean edicts to Duke about eating and drinking. Prep man. Mwahaah.
Then Sherry and TinWin met up with us at my house and we went over to Q-Cup. We met up with Korey and Grace there and just hung out for a bit. It was good seeing them again, because I hadn't seen some other Berkeley peeps in a while. My banana crepe wasn't so money this time, as I found out I could peel back the paper cup it was in. That was like freakin Pandora's box man. I got ice cream all over me. But the rest of the night was cool, with the exception of the weird Chinese concert music videos they were showing. Hahha, Jay Chou playing basketball...
Wednesday
Today, Duke, J-Law and I were going to go to Stanford and pay the guys a visit. But Brian was studying for a diagnostics exam, and Grant was going to be busy until 6, we just aborted the mission. J-Law ended up going because he had to do something to keep himself busy for the next few days while Duke and I were gone in Irvine.
But Kwan was back today, and he Duke and I shot around at the hoops for a little bit. Twas good seeing Kwan again, it's too bad he was gone nearly all of break. And with Duke and I gone tomorrow to Irvine, that guy's going to be all alone. So sad.
Speaking of Irvine, I need to wake up early tomorrow, so I'll ttyl. Good night blog. Sweet dreams world. I hate your face. I kid! I kid.
