Yes once again another week since I've written in my blog. But I've been so incredibly busy that I think I have a pretty good reason for leaving all my loyal readers in the dark as to what exactly has been happening in my life. Duke even AIMed me and asked me if everything was okay since I haven't updated my blog lately. LOL.

But I'll try and make this interesting.

Well I messed up on finals. Big time. Really, and as a result I messed up this semester pretty bad. I don't understand. While studying for these tests I'll understand the material, but when it comes time to take the test I just....blank out. Well I can kiss Haas goodbye as a result. No way I have a chance in hell with these grades. If anyone has any alternate majors let me know because I'm clueless now.

Saw Star Wars yesterday with a buttload of people at SF. We originally drove all the way out there so we could watch it with digital projection, but the last show with DP was sold out. So we had to settle for a regular screening at a later time which kinda defeated the purpose of us driving all the way out there, but as people tell me, "It's an adventure."

I almost lost everyone. Before the movie, I guess we were heading to Mel's, but I didn't know that so I was just blindly following the group. And this homeless guy wants to sell me this newspaper for a dollar, so I buy it, then he starts asking me for more money. I was like "Jigga what?!?!" Well I didn't say that but I was thinking it. I ended up giving him some change I had. By the time I turned around, everyone was gone. Kinda freaky. I then frantically started calling everyone on their cell, but NO ONE picked up. Seemed like a scene straight out of the twighlight zone. Walked 2 blocks up, turned around, and right when I lost all hope I look inside Mel's Diner, and see Javier chilling with everyone else. I literally pressed my face against the glass. Anyway, that was interesting.

How was the movie? Alrite actually. I had very low expectations coming in because I heard it was pretty bad. But actually like pretty much everyone else in my group I enjoyed it for the most part. Perfect? Hardly. But most people who had problems with the film were those who wanted great acting, intelligent dialogue, an epic story, and many other things that Star Wars isn't necessarily. Let's face it folks. Star Wars never had great acting. In fact go back and watch Epsiode IV, and watch Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill again. Not quite Oscar caliber. And there were plenty of cheesy lines in the original trilogy as well. Granted none as bad as "I don't like the sand. It's hard, coarse, rough, get's everywhere...not like you, you're soft and smooth." But nevertheless who on earth expected great romance lines from George freakin Lucas? He's single for a reason folks.

My biggest letdown is the film still didn't have quite the magic of the first three. And I'm beginning to question if it ever will. Time will tell if these movie hold up to being worth of being in the Trilogy. One has to remember that the original Star Wars wasn't a critic's delight as well. But at least the film showed signs of being back on track.

So all in all, people may have been disappointed with the film for reasons I haven't mentioned, but if they were expecting anything else but a fun movie, they were going to be disappointed. The film succeeded in many other areas that Episode I failed in. It refrained from becomming a commercialized monster as it's predecessor. The film was darker and gave plenty of nice allusions to its predecessors and had a nice sense of foreshadowing. Loved seeing Owen and Beru. The plans for the Death Star. And you can't forget Anakin standing in the desert casting a shadow in the figure of Darth Vader. Over computerized? Yeh, but visually studnning nonetheless. Plus how often do you get to see Yoda fight? And two words: Natalie Portman.

Anyway enough of that. Sheesh almost wrote a mini-review. Today was so hectic as I had to pack everything and move my stuff to my new place, help Max with his stuff, and move my stuff back home. I had a final too. In the midst of all this I realized I didn't have much of a chance to say goodbye to as many people as I wanted. So here's a huge thank you to (for):
